Palin’s Night – The Republican Convention

September 4, 2008

Palin’s Night!

I heard the funniest speeches tonight during the Republican Convention. Palin held her ground, took some very good, very strategic jabs at the Democratic ticket. It was very good. There was a very good case made by many speakers, Palin included, in regards to Obama’s experience and qualifications to be president.

By far, the funniest speech tonight was that of Rudy Giuliani’s. He brought up the voting record of Obama when he was in the Illinois state Senate. He didn’t vote yes or no some 130 times. He couldn’t make up his mind what he should choose. Rather he voted present. Rudy went on to say that in all his executive experience as as Mayor of New York City, he didn’t have the option of just voting present.

Rudy also gave a great analogy of someone having to make a hiring decision. When Rudy started talking about Obama leading anything… he exclaimed: “This is not a personal attack … it’s a statement of fact — Barack Obama has never led anything. Nothing. Nada. “

Rudy’s transcript is available at:

He actually had everyone out right laughing at Obama, it was pretty funny.

The speeches were excellent. I know McCain will not do as well. I think everyone will think it is good because he is the candidate, but there is no way he could do as good or better than Palin or Giuliani.

 Very good!

I watched Obama’s speech and I watched Palins. I think Palin would make a better president that Obama. Not once did Obama mention the greatest threat to this country… TERRORISM. It is still a fact. Obama is not ready to lead.
