Is is true or false? Is Palin really rogue?

October 27, 2008

Article on CNN
I have a hard time believing anything that CNN says. But one thing that I can tell you all for sure… If Palin is going off message she is saying the right things and I would rather elect her as president than McCain or Obama. She is the only one who is in the words of Obama “finally giving us a little straight talk”.

There is something funny about the way Obama said that. For some reason, it reminds me of something Edie Murphy would say or Chris Rock. Maybe we are electing Barack “the comedian” Obama… because his presidency is going to be ONE BIG JOKE!

God Bless America!

The thoughts of a college student.

September 30, 2008

I was talking to a young lady yesterday.  I asked her: Who are you going to vote for?  She replied: Obama.  I asked why?  She said: Because McCain is too old and will likely only live one year while he is in office.  [funny thing is that she was totally serious]

First off: Kudos to the Obama team for making McCain already appear as though he has a foot in the grave.

The problem with it is that she is listening to the liberal bias on the college campus and not to what Obama is really saying he is going to do.  Obama is the WORST thing that could happen to America.

The stage is already set for us to move into Socialism.  He will take us there.  Once we are there, we are only one step away from Communism.  GOD HELP US!

Chris Rock and the American Dream

September 28, 2008

Recently there were some pretty stupid remarks made by another actor/star. Chris Rock, the sometimes funny, sometimes crude comic said that he would vote for the guy with one house.

When I was a kid, (I’m sure it was the same for Obama), I was told I could achieve anything I dreamed. I could even become the President of the United States. This is America, and I have the opportunity to live the “American Dream.”

What is the “American Dream”? I checked out the Wikipedia and in the first sentence it says: “The American Dream today often refers to one’s material wealth which is dependent upon one’s abilities and work ethic, and not on a rigid class structure.”

It goes on to say: ” Also the phrase’s meaning has evolved over the course of American history, for some people, it is the opportunity to achieve greater material prosperity than was possible in their countries of origin. For others it is the opportunity for their children to grow up and receive an education and its consequent career opportunities. It is the opportunity to make individual choices without the restrictions of class, caste, religion, race, or ethnic group. For others in this the dream of choice and flexibility, the ability to wake up in the morning and decide to drive, cycle or take public transportation to work.” [In McCains case... which house to sleep in.]

You mean I can have an American Dream no matter what class structure I am in? So a poor person can have and “American Dream” just as equally as a rich person can have an “American Dream”? I think that is true. I would be willing to bet that Donald Trump has lived out his “American Dream”. I would be willing to bet that Chris Rock has lived out his “American Dream”. I would also bet that John McCain is trying to live his “American Dream”.

It does not matter how many houses you own. It does not matter how much money you have or earn. It does not matter who your friends are. Or, what your job is. Every one in this great country has the opportunity of dreaming and achieving their version of the “American Dream”. It is no respector of Race, Color, Ethnicity, Sex, Gender, or Age. IF YOU DREAM IT, YOU CAN ACHIEVE IT in America.

Obama even achieved his dream of buying a home. It took the help of a convicted felon, but he has been able to live the “American Dream” himself.

Chris Rock, be smart and shut up. Last I heard… THIS IS AMERICA. Everyone has the right to dream and achieve what they desire. If they didn’t, you wouldn’t be a controversial and disgraceful comedian.

What really happened at the White House?

September 28, 2008

Do you want to read about what really happened the other day at the white house?

I was really surprised to hear right after the meeting on all the news channels that McCain screwed the whole thing up. He wasn’t willing to make concessions that would allow it to go forward and was hindering progress. He should have never come to Washington.

Anyhow, Rush Limbaugh was equally perplexed by the meeting and called a friend to find out what really happened. Read the story here.

http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_092608/content/01125107.guest.html

In summary, Paulsen, Reed and Pelosi deferred to Obama (so he could look presidential) and the first thing he did was start ripping the Republicans for presenting a second plan [option]. Don’t forget the Treasury Secretary [Paulsen] was the former CEO of Goldman Sachs and a Democrat. Story short, Obama’s lack of ability to negotiate ruined the entire meeting and the attacks on the news were damage control to make it look like McCains fault.

Read about his conflict of interst here:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hank_Paulson

Again, don’t believe everything you hear on TV.

You later hear Obama say that he has done better when people keep him in the loop over the phone. (That’s because he sucks at being in charge in person.)

Letter to CNN

September 22, 2008

Dear CNN:

Hit this link:

http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/09/21/palin-fl-crowd/

You guys are a bunch of bias morons. Oh, it was big news that Barrack would speak to 80,000 people… but you don’t even run the story when Palin draws a crowd of 60,000 (as the vice presidential candidate).

It wasn’t on your front page… it wasn’t on your political page.  I doubt you even have the story on your website…  It would likely draw attention away from your candidate, the blessed and holy messiah Barrack Obama.

Obama’s Sling’n Mud

September 21, 2008

Ok, Ok, Ok, I can’t pass this one up…
http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/09/20/obama-casts-mccain-as-gambler/
A fox news article reports: “As big government steps in to bail out Wall Street, Barack Obama is ridiculing his rival as a free-market buccaneer who until this week was the champion of the kind of deregulation blamed for the economic meltdown.” Then goes on to say: “There’s only one candidate who called himself, and I quote, ‘fundamentally a deregulator,’ when it was reckless deregulation and lack of oversight that’s a big part of the problem on Wall Street right now,” he said in Jacksonville, Fla., calling McCain the “great deregulator.”
Am I right in what I read? Obama saying that Deregulation caused this problem? It wasn’t people like Franklin Raines or James Johnson who are working for the Obama campaign that caused the problem. If I remember right, McCain asked for regulating Fannie Mae an Freddie Mac. Franklin Raines and James Johnson helped destroy those companies… yet Obama thinks it was John McCain’s fault? Obama has his facts wrong.

We are a capitalist country. This country is founded on capitalist principles. One of those is that the market should regulate itself and be allowed to run its course. If a business succeeds… it succeeds. If it fails… it fails. WE DO NOT NEED MORE GOVERNMENT! WE DO NOT NEED MORE REGULATION! But that is what Barrack is trying to get everyone to think we need… so when he is elected, the voice of the people will have agreed with him that we should become more Socialist. We should have more regulation. We should have more government.

Watch out… Obama will tell you what everyone is doing wrong, but when it comes down to it, he has no original ideas himself… His idea of fix government is have Hope for Change… or Believe in Hope and Change… or Change will bring Hope… or what ever it is… But what is that? He hasn’t even said what that is. Yet everyone’s jumping on the band wagon because they get a warm fuzzy feeling when they hear the word Hope or Change. It’s an idea, not a policy. Trust me, if he did have anything… I wouldn’t want it. WE ARE A FREE PEOPLE! If we follow Obama…we will lose our freedom.

GOD BLESS THE CAPITALIST and FREE MARKETS and FREEDOM!

Obama reminds me of Satan in the battle of heaven.
I hate to bring religion into it… but I can’t stop thinking of this. In the LDS Scriptures Moses chapter 4 verse 1 it says:
AND I, the aLord God, spake unto Moses, saying: That bSatan, whom thou hast commanded in the name of mine Only Begotten, is the same which was from the cbeginning, and he came before me, saying—Behold, here am I, send me, I will be thy son, and I will dredeem all mankind, that one soul shall not be lost, and surely eI will do it; wherefore fgive me thine honor.

Isn’t that what socialism or monarchy is? That man has his free agency taken away? That someone thinks they should run your life for you? Tell you where you can work… tell you how much money you can earn… tell you what you can and can’t do… not allow you to fail because that would not be just or fair…??? Do they [the government or Obama] really know better than we do as to what we should and shouldn’t do? Do we really want them running our lives… telling what we can and can’t do? NO!!!

Is there not a parallel here in that Obama is offering to do for us what Satan offered to do for us before we came to earth? Is Obama trying to be the Messiah that Satan desired to be? Is it not a coincidence that people are calling him a messiah?

God HELP US if Obama is elected!

Dee Dee Myers and Ari Fleischer on the Today Show.

September 21, 2008

Sept. 19: TODAY’s Matt Lauer talks to former White House press secretaries Dee Dee Myers and Ari Fleischer about the presidential candidates’ plans to handle the economy. WASHINGTON – The financial crisis has turned the race between Senators John …
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26783295/

Nothing against Matt Lauer in this one… he was just asking the questions… The one who obviously isn’t from this planet is Dee Dee Myers. All she could do is point fingers at the Republican party and president when it is proven to be exacerbated by politicians on both sides of the isle.

If I have to hear one more time that it is the failed policies of the Bush Administration… [I’ll leave it at that] The Bush Administration is not the only entity running the US Government. It seems to me that there is a Democratic run House and Senate that are equally or more to blame. It seems to me that BOTH sides have been playing politics, serving their self interests, lobbying, and much more against the will of the AMERICAN PEOPLE.

Dee Dee Myers… as intelligent as you think you are… you are wrong!

Sorry, Jim Matheson… I’m voting against you.

September 18, 2008

http://matheson.house.gov/press2008/pr_080916.shtml

Who’s with me in thinking this is a sham and a pile of crap… to me it really stinks. They approve it at the end of the legislative session to give them a political boost when it has virtually no chance of passing the Senate (without being completely re-write) and President Bush has promised to VETO.

You can drill any where you want 100 miles off the coast. And, if you get state approval, 50 to 100 miles off the coast. From what I hear, there isn’t any oil there and you end up drilling off the continental shelf.

I was listening to Bob Lonsberry http://www.knrs.com/pages/bobs_blog.html and he had some great points on this. I do agree that Matheson is probably trying to pull the wool over our eyes to get re-elected.

One point that really gets me…

The case is made frequently, not to drill because: drilling will not help for 10 years so we shouldn’t do it, then what will we do in 10 years when our demand is twice what it is right now? What are we going to do the… We’ll say the same thing… we can’t drill, it will not help for 10 years. Aren’t our politician’s dopes?

Anyhow, I’m going against Matheson… we need fewer people who support Nancy Pelosi and her agendas.

Who’s fault is it?

September 18, 2008

http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=75586

Obama took $126,349 from Freddie and Fannie since 2004. What? But, Obama is out to blame Bush and the Republican party for the failure of these two giant companies? Does this seem right to you?

In 2005 McCain tried to regulate these giants in the mortgage industry: “For years I have been concerned about the regulatory structure that governs Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac – known as government-sponsored entities or GSEs – and the sheer magnitude of these companies and the role they play in the housing market,” Read about it here: http://www.govtrack.us/congress/record.xpd?id=109-s20060525-16&bill=s109-190

Previously Freddie and Fannie had had a 10.6 Billion dollar scandal and were fined 3.8 Billion for Election Fraud.

But, No, No, Obama the Great says it is George Bush’s fault they failed.

In 2006 they paid out 1.3 million in political contributions… So far this year, they have paid out 1.1 million (56% going to Democrats). But no, it’s George Bush’s fault the companies failed. Doesn’t make sense to me.

It’s just like Congress and the Senate to point the finger at anyone but themselves…. Didn’t I hear recently that they have a 9% approval rating? Stated above are some obvious reasons why! They cause all the problems and take NONE OF THE BLAME!

What a bunch of idiots!

Another movie star… another very stupid comment!

September 12, 2008

We’ll just chalk this one up and Matt Damon saying something stupid… you know like all movie stars do.

And think, I liked his movies. He’s not as cool or smart as I thought he was.
