Letter to PBS regarding a segment on Obama

September 26, 2008

Are you serious?

I watched your little spot on Barack Obama this morning. I can’t remember hearing a news organization broadcast such a bias piece of news in a LONG time.

You guys are a real work of art. I love how you craftfully had the person saying that Obama was calm cool and collected after McCain picked Palin as a running mate. That he was never shook up and that he was never on the attack.

Obviously you guys are so busy creating news stories and so blinded by the little cubicles your people live in, they haven’t seen the light of day over the last few months. Of course given that scenario, they would believe such hog-wash.

Obama has been on the attach… Obama even had to come out attacking Palin personally because he VP pick [Biden] wasn’t doing it. Obama had lost a 35 point lead. And last week McCain even pulled ahead of Obama for a short time.

Go ahead and keep spreading your version of the truth, I’ll make sure I never watch PBS again. Keep making him appear as a saint and the most clean politician in office, incapable of doing wrong. You must not know any politicians or follow politics.

Hopefully people see through your smoke screen.

Dee Dee Myers and Ari Fleischer on the Today Show.

September 21, 2008

Sept. 19: TODAY’s Matt Lauer talks to former White House press secretaries Dee Dee Myers and Ari Fleischer about the presidential candidates’ plans to handle the economy. WASHINGTON – The financial crisis has turned the race between Senators John …

Nothing against Matt Lauer in this one… he was just asking the questions… The one who obviously isn’t from this planet is Dee Dee Myers. All she could do is point fingers at the Republican party and president when it is proven to be exacerbated by politicians on both sides of the isle.

If I have to hear one more time that it is the failed policies of the Bush Administration… [I’ll leave it at that] The Bush Administration is not the only entity running the US Government. It seems to me that there is a Democratic run House and Senate that are equally or more to blame. It seems to me that BOTH sides have been playing politics, serving their self interests, lobbying, and much more against the will of the AMERICAN PEOPLE.

Dee Dee Myers… as intelligent as you think you are… you are wrong!

Move over Bush… Someone sucks worse that you!

September 16, 2008

Did you know that our congress has a new approval rating of 9%.

You won’t hear about it on the news… because it ins’t George Bush’s approval rating. You should already know that the whole reason the country is in the crapper is because of that George Bush. There isn’t any reason for the media to tell everyone that his approval rating is 3x’s higher than that of the congress. Maybe it didn’t help turning off the lights and going home before voting on an energy bill after all. I would expect that from a 3rd grade class, not the US CONGRESS.

Nice work Mrs. Pelosi… your true colors are really showing through..

Today’s Politics

September 4, 2008

I’ve been very disappointed with today’s Politics. I would have to say that I am not, nor have I been, nor will I be, in favor of either Presidential candidate.   When you consider the condition of the United States and its economy one thing that is rarely said is that it is just as much the fault of Congress and the Senate as it is the President for the quagmire we are in.  This leads me to my main point…

Why, if we are in such distress, would we pick someone to run our country that helped us get into the mess we are currently in?  Why would we pick a Senator to run the country when it has been their legislation, wheeling-and-dealings, that have put us in this mess we are in.  Why when the Senates approval rating is half that of the Presidents [in the teens], would we elect a Senator to run the country?

The only thing McCain has going for him is Palin.  The only thing Obama has going for him is NOTHING.  He has no record and he chose Biden to be his VP.  Biden is a Washington insider with 20 years of policy making that, again, put us into the mess we are in.  Yes, equal to or exceeding, the contribution our current President has made towards screwing things up.

With that said, I would like to say that I do respect President Bush.  I think he is a man of integrity and moral conviction.  I think he has stood boldly against major opposition and smears.  I have truly respected his decisions to take the moral high ground and not fight with Democrats or Republicans that disagreed with him or who desired to slander him.  Has he made all the best decisions… no.  But has he been the better man?  Yes!

Don’t expect the same from Biden if we ever get stuck with him.
