Obama’s Action Items

November 11, 2008

I have two things in this email:

1st is a somewhat curious move by the Obama administration entitled Story #3; again taken from Rush.

2nd I decided to take the time to tell you what Obama removed from his website so you could see what he is going to do for us.  It is really long and really lofty.  I particularly like section on requiring kids to perform 50 hours of community service every year… and the section he left our on Gays… I added it as section #26.  If you want, consider the Tax section… how is he going to pay for all if it?  And what exactly is a progressive… this thing Obama is calling himself under the Faith section? Oh, and gun rights under Section 25.. he’s doing his best to make it a hunting issue.  Men should have the right to own a gun for hunting.  Isn’t that what the constitution says?  If you don’t agree… how many times does he mention the right to bare arms, versus hunt… and what did he title the document in order to address the issue?

Personally, I think there are some contradictions.

Enjoy!

Story #3: Obama Scrubs His Change.gov Website

http://washingtontimes.com/news/2008/nov/11/exclusive-obama-deletes-agenda-from-transition-web/

RUSH: Remember last Friday we shared with you all of the things that we found on Obama’s website, the Office of the President-Elect, called Change.gov?  They’re gone.  They changed it.  They had this thing that was going to require mandatory community service for various age-groups and students and so forth.  That’s now been replaced with voluntary.  We hope to inspire people to do this.  “Over the weekend President-elect Barack Obama scrubbed Change.gov, his transition Web site, deleting most of what had been a massive agenda copied directly from his campaign Web site. Gone are the promises on how an Obama administration would handle 25 different agenda items — everything from Iraq and immigration to taxes and urban policy — all items laid out on his campaign Web site, www.BarackObama.com.

“Instead, the official agenda on Change.gov has been boiled down to one vague paragraph…” Heh-heh-heh-heh. Oh, yes! “[O]ne vague paragraph proclaiming a plan ‘to revive the economy, to fix our health care, education, and social security systems, to define a clear path to energy independence, to end the war in Iraq responsibly and finish our mission in Afghanistan, and to work with our allies to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon, among many other domestic and foreign policy objectives.’ ‘We are currently retooling the Web site,’ said Obama spokesman Nick Shapiro.” So Change.gov has been scrubbed, ladies and gentlemen.  It didn’t take much attention focused on Change.gov for them to scrub it.  Now, why would they scrub it?  What are they embarrassed about?

What do they not want people to know? They put it up there.  If you put it up there, you assume that we want people to see it, do you not?  So we told people about it, and people obviously went to look at it, and all of a sudden it gets scrubbed!  I don’t understand.  I really don’t understand.  Openness and transparent and transformational and honesty and unity and all this.  So the slightest bit of attention is called to it (a little bit larger than the slightest, obviously) and they scrub it.  It’s all gone out there, ladies and gentlemen.

What are his 25 action items?

Here is what our new president is going to do:

Action Item #1

Civil Rights

-Will make women and minorities receive equal pay for equal work

-Will fix the Bush Administrations politicization of Civil Rights and end Bush’s (ideological litmus tests) (I didn’t realized Bush hired people based on race?)

-Strengthen hate crimes

Action #2

Defense

-Increase the military by 92,000

-Restore the readiness of the National Guard

-Engage our allies in meeting our common security challenges: Obama and Biden will renew alliances and ensure our allies contribute their fair share to our mutual security. (Obama obviosly thinks our neighbors aren’t pulling their own weight… ???)

Action #3

Disabilities

-Obama and Biden will fight to provide students with disabilities the public education they have a right to, invest in early intervention programs, improve college opportunities, and support universal screening of infants… (what do you think he means my Universal Screening of Infants for Educational Purposes?)

-Restore the American’s with Disabilities Act (I didn’t realize this went anywhere)

-Obama and Biden will ensure people with mental or functional disabilities are placed in community settings when appropriate.

Action #4

Economy

-Restore fairness to the tax code; 95% of American’s will pay fewer taxes. (right… until the bush tax break ends, then everyone’s taxes will go up and it’s all Bush’s fault)

-Eliminate capital gains tax on small businesses and start up’s… (i’ll believe it when I see it)

-Obama and Biden will fight for a trade policy that opens up foreign markets to support good American jobs. They will use trade agreements to spread good labor and environmental standards around the world.

Action #5

Education

-will improve the assessments used to track student progress to measure readiness for college.

-The Obama-Biden comprehensive “Zero to Five” plan will provide critical support to young children and their parents. And they will help states move toward voluntary, universal pre-school. (what is this?  could be interesting to find out?

-create a new American Opportunity Tax Credit worth $4,000 in exchange for community service. It will cover two-thirds the cost of tuition at the average public college or university and make community college tuition completely free for most students.  (Basically, join the Army, Peace Corps… or something of the sort to earn it… do your duty for Uncle Sam.. or in this case for his majesty Barack Obama)

Action #6

Energy

http://my.barackobama.com/page/content/newenergy

You’re going to have to read this one for your self…

5 million Green Collar jobs… (makes him sound like he is an environmentalist nut job)

-1 million 150 mpg cars (gas + plug in)

-Within 10 years save more gas than we import

-Enact a windfall tax that provides every American a $1000 tax credit (that must mean take money from the greedy capitalist energy company and in the name of fairness re-distribute that wealth to the people who really deserve it… The people who wanted energy but shouldn’t have had to pay for it.)  (By the way, where is my Wal-mart or Microsoft windfall punishment check… they shouldn’t have been allowed to make money either.)

Action #7

Ethics

(You know… Barack is going to get a taste of his own medicine… wait and see.  He’s been parading around as though he is the most ethical the most supreme politician… willing to point out the motte that is other peoples eyes [especially Bush's]… wait till he sees the beam that is in his eye.)

-Create a internet database of lobbyists, records, and campaign financial filings (just like the ones Obama wouldn’t report because there illegal contributors; there was even a judge from Utah that donated to Obama’s campaign… [it was in the news because her money was given back; she also stated in the donation she was a layer not a judge-she ought to be sacked-i wonder where he vote lies?])

“In addition to the donations the campaign has disclosed, however, it has taken an unprecedented $218 million from donors whose names it is keeping secret, according to FEC spokesman Robert Biersack. That money came from individuals who in theory never passed the threshold of $200, the limit the FEC set for public disclosure of a donor’s name and place of residence, so there is no way of knowing how much foreign money could be included in that amount.  For example, hidden away amidst the unprecedented $150 million Obama claims to have raised from individual donors in September was more than $42 million raised from secret donors. These donations appear in the records as a single entry under the heading, “Donors, Unitemized.”  http://www.newsmax.com/headlines/obama_illegal_donors/2008/10/29/145612.html

(can I hear an AMEN for CHANGE!!!  It’s a good thing we have Obama turning things around in Washington

-will fight for an independent watchdog agency to oversee the investigation of congressional ethics violations.

-No political appointees in an Obama-Biden administration will be permitted to work on regulations or contracts directly and substantially related to their prior employer for two years. And no political appointee will be able to lobby the executive branch after leaving government service during the remainder of the administration.  (this is because of the Chaney Halliburton relationship… We’ll see if it sticks)

Action #8

Faith

-God is constantly present in our lives, and this presence is a source of hope.

-Progressives should boldly approach matters of faith and values. (by progressive he means – modern the modern progressive movement – they believe the constitution is evolving and the original constitution is no lover relevant today. They are trying to change it so that it is more upto date… kind of like what some people would like to do to the bible… change it so it is more modern and up to date with our current society)

-As Joshua built on the work of Moses, leaders of today – the ‘Joshua Generation’ – must build of the foundation of previous generations to move our nation forward. (I could read into this, but I won’t)

-Faith should not be used as a wedge to divide.

-The separation of church and state is critical and has caused our democracy and religious practices to thrive.

-We are a nation of many faiths and of those with no faith at all. The religious practices of all must be respected.

-Faith is a source of action for justice.

-Government alone cannot solve all of our problems – we have an individual responsibility to be our brother’s keeper and our sister’s keeper.

Here is a fairly unbiased piece on the history of progressives: http://www.u-s-history.com/pages/h1061.html

Wikipedai: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Progressivism_in_the_United_States which states: Modern issues for “progressives” can include[citation needed]: electoral reform (including instant runoff voting, proportional representation and fusion candidates), environmental conservation, pollution control and environmentalism, universal health care, abolition of the death penalty, affordable housing, a viable Social Security System, renewable energy, gun control, “smart growth” urban development, a living wage and pro-union policies, among many others.

Beware the progressive movement…. when you hear the term you should get a bad feeling….

Action #9

Family

- Tax cut for 95% of Americans  (yeah right)

-Strengthen fatherhood and families (make men pay child support)

-Provide after school programs and tax credits for day care (Boy he’s starting to sound like a community organizer)

Action #10

Fiscal

-Review the budget – cut line items that don’t work

-will protect tax cuts for poor and middle-class families, and will reverse most of the Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest taxpayers. (i’ll believe it when I see it)

-will level the playing field for all businesses by eliminating special-interest loopholes and deductions, such as those for the oil and gas industry. (especially those greedy capitalist oil companies that support Cheney and Halliburton)

Action #11

Foreign Policy

-Secure all nuclear materials and strengthen a global ban on production of nuclear weapons.

-will present the Iranian regime with a clear choice. If Iran abandons its nuclear program and support for terrorism, they would offer incentives like membership in the World Trade Organization. If Iran continues its troubling behavior, Obama and Biden will step up our economic pressure and political isolation. (isn’t this exactly what’s been happening?)

-will renew American diplomacy to meet the challenges of the 21st century. They will rebuild our alliances. And they would be willing to meet with all nations, friend and foe, to advance American interests. (Hay Chavez.. why don’t you come to the white house for a cup of tea?)

Action #12

Health Care

-provides affordable, accessible health care for all Americans (what they are not telling you is that it is socialized health care)

-The Obama plan will lower health care costs by $2,500 for a typical family by investing in health information technology, prevention and care coordination.

-Obama and Biden will require coverage of preventive services, including cancer screenings, and will increase state and local preparedness for terrorist attacks and natural disasters. (what he isn’t telling you is who’s going to pay for this… employers… which means they will have fewer jobs for people)

Action #13

Homeland Security

-will find, disrupt, and destroy al Qaeda; prepare the military to meet 21st century threats; and win “the Battle of Ideas” by ensuring American foreign policy is consistent with America’s traditional values. (bravo… I’ll believe it when I see it – what he means is our military will stop air raiding villages and killing innocent civilians)

-will lead the effort to secure nuclear weapons materials at vulnerable sites within four years and help our allies stop the smuggling of weapons of mass destruction.

-will work to prevent bioterror attacks and mitigate consequences by improving U.S. intelligence collection and response management.

I never considered Obama to be a tough guy… maybe that is why he works out at the gym all the time?  He wants to be a tough guy?

Action #14

Immigration

-want to preserve the integrity of our borders.

-must fix the dysfunctional immigration bureaucracy and increase the number of legal immigrants to keep families together and meet the demand for jobs that employers cannot fill.

-support a system that requires undocumented immigrants who are in good standing to pay a fine, learn English, and go to the back of the line for the opportunity to become citizens.

I can’t see them believing in what they just said because it doesn’t seem as though liberals would think this is FAIR.

Action #15

Iraq

-Immediately upon taking office, Obama will give his Secretary of Defense and military commanders a new mission in Iraq: successfully ending the war. The removal of our troops will be responsible and phased. (I would imagine Bush told his general the same thing)  You notice he used the word SUCCESSFULLY with ending the war… I think that gives him a loop hole to not immediately vacate Iraq.)

-press Iraq‘s leaders to take responsibility for their future

-will launch an aggressive diplomatic effort to reach a comprehensive compact on the stability of Iraq and the region.

Action #16

Poverty

-will invest $1 billion over five years in transitional jobs and career pathway programs that implement proven methods of helping low-income Americans succeed in the workforce. (what about the people who don’t want to work because you take care of them?)

-will increase benefits for working parents, raise the minimum wage to $9.50 an hour by 2011, and provide tax relief to low- and middle-income workers. (How can businesses pay for all of this?  Shouldn’t the market determine what wages should be?  This is a recipe for fewer jobs and more unemployment – unless Obama makes it so you can’t terminate anyone’s job.)

-will invest in rural small businesses, improve rural schools, and attract more doctors to rural areas. And they will work with urban leaders to increase the supply of affordable housing and address the unique challenges of every metropolitan area.

Action #17

Rural

-will fight for farm programs that provide family farmers with stability and predictability. They will implement a $250,000 payment limitation so that we help family farmers – not large corporate agribusiness.

-will provide capital for farmers to create value-added enterprises, like cooperative marketing initiatives and farmer-owned processing plants.

-will combat methamphetamine use, improve health care, improve education, and upgrade infrastructure in rural areas.

Action #18 (this is my favorite section)

Service

-will expand AmeriCorps and the Peace Corps, engage retiring Americans, and set up an America’s Voice Initiative to send Americans who are fluent speakers of local languages to expand our public diplomacy.

-will set a goal that all middle and high school students do 50 hours of community service a year, and will establish a new tax credit that is worth $4,000 a year in exchange for 100 hours of public service a year. (I can just see them lining up already)

-will create a Social Investment Fund Network to use federal seed money to leverage private sector funding. They will create an agency dedicated to building the capacity and effectiveness of the nonprofit sector. (more community organizers… something tells me this money will only go to minorities)

This sounds more like the first steps towards Hitlers Youth than anything to me…
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hitler_Youth

Action #19

Seniors

-are committed to ensuring Social Security is solvent and viable for the American people, now and in the future. They are strongly opposed to privatizing Social Security. (where is the money going to come from… this is political rhetoric)

-will allow the federal government to negotiate for lower drug prices for the Medicare program. They also support allowing seniors to import safe prescription drugs from overseas. (another greedy capitalist industry)

-are committed to the long-term strength of the Medicare program. They will reduce waste in the Medicare system and will tackle fundamental healthcare reform. (we can’t let our socialist programs fail!)

Action #20

Tax

-We know… 95% of Americans will see a tax cut… I’ll believe it when I see it.

Here is an interesting article: http://us-elections.suite101.com/article.cfm/obama_budget_realities

Action #21

Technology

-strongly support the principle of network neutrality to preserve the benefits of open competition on the Internet.

-believe we can get true broadband to every community in America. (another cost to everyone!)

-will ensure our goods and services are treated fairly in foreign markets, invest in the sciences, and will provide new research grants to the most outstanding early-career researchers in the country.

Action #22

Urban

-will create a White House Office of Urban Policy to develop a strategy for metropolitan America and to ensure that all federal dollars targeted to urban areas are effectively spent on the highest-impact programs. (only a Chicago community organizer could come up with this… )

-will support job creation, enhance workforce training, and increase access to capital for underserved businesses. (we’re going to create jobs – tax the employer into oblivion – make the employer hire more people – make the employer offer healthcare which in turn is a higher expense to the employer and over all end up with more Americans working, more of them with health care, more of them with higher paying jobs and a minimum wage of $9.50, and everyone is happy… right)

-will ensure that middle-class Americans get the financial assistance they need to purchase or keep their own home. And they will increase the supply of affordable housing.

Action #23

Veterans

-are committed to creating a 21st Century Department of Veterans’ Affairs that provides the care and benefits our nation’s veterans deserve.

-will improve the quality of health care for veterans, rebuild the VA’s broken benefits system, and combat homelessness among veterans.

-will improve mental health treatment for troops and veterans suffering from combat-related psychological injuries.

God Bless our Vets!

Action #24

Women

-Insure women

-Empower women to prevent HIV/AIDS

-Support research into Women’s Health

-Fight Cancer

-Reduce Health Risks due to Mercury Pollution

-Support stem cell research

-Support a woman’s RIGHT TO CHOOSE -Barack Obama understands that abortion is a divisive issue, and respects those who disagree with him. However, he has been a consistent champion of reproductive choice and will make preserving women’s rights under Roe v. Wade a priority as President. He opposes any constitutional amendment to overturn the Supreme Court’s decision in that case.

-Reduce domestic violence

The list goes on and on….

Action #25

Additional Issues

-Arts

-Child advocacy

-Katrina

-Science

-Sportsman

http://obama.3cdn.net/7d467fe75a3029d7df_hum6injwr.pdf - this is a full attempt to make the right to bare arms a right to hunt for sportsmanship.  Not an actual right to bare arms… watch out!

-Transportation

Not mentioned, but I am providing the link:  Action #26

-Repeal don’t ask don’t tell

-Expand adoption rights

In answer to a reply on Obama…

November 5, 2008

As for Obama… I would not have been as scared of him if the Democrats did not control both the Senate and House.  Now that they have all three houses, I think people like me are pretty much screwed.

I think you will see some of the following take place in the Obama administration:
-The fairness doctrine enacted (that will be to your benefit).
-More socialist programs (education, housing, healthcare, etc..)
-Higher taxes (I think the middle class will be surprised – their taxes will go up also)
-A move towards the USA being subject to UN law and courts.
-If the economy doesn’t shape up you will see Obama include us in a One World Currency
-You will see a loosening of Abortion rights (making more types of abortions legal)
-You will see many more liberal judges (with much more liberal views) appointed to the Supreme Court and Appellate Courts. (Again in your favor)
-I think you will see capitalism get its knees broken by the Obama administration, why?  Because of them having to support all of Obama’s socialist programs so the poor and middle class don’t have to pay for them.  A business only makes so much money, and a business can only pay so many taxes before it is no longer reasonable to operate the business.
-You will see many of the recently passed bills to allow drilling and energy production repealed because of the environment and global warming (which is a hoax and again, crippling to the future economy and capitalism).

Anyhow, the list goes on and on.

I think the USA is going to be sold out by the Obama administration and everyone is going to sit back and wonder what Obama was thinking and why they elected him.  (McCain would have been just as bad of a choice)

Just because you call a circle a triangle does not make it a so…

November 3, 2008

There have been some very good comments on the 2nd Bill of Rights issue.

I doubt not that the glbt community would welcome anyone with open arms.  That is not the issue.  The more people that see things their way or accept their lifestyle, the stronger their cause is.  The issue is that this is a question of morality even more so than it is a question of lifestyle.

The more that accept it and the more rights those people are given the more they are able to justify their backwards view of nature.  Just because you say a circle is a triangle doesn’t mean it is.  Even if the courts say a circle is a triangle doesn’t mean it is.  Fundamentally that is what we have here… the glbt community is trying to saying a circle is a triangle and is trying to make the US understand the equation… well it making it that apparent it is easy to see why some people are reluctant to accept that equation as fact.

Morally it is contrary to Gods law.  In the Garden of Eden God gave unto Adam a woman whom Adam called Eve.  He did not give unto Adam another Adam to be his help meet and companion.  He gave him a woman.

Just as God said that Adultery is bad he said fornication is bad.  With would be whether it were with a man or a woman.  Sexual relations outside the bonds of matrimony are wrong in the sight of the Lord.  Even Jesus said if you look upon a woman to lust that is wrong and a sin.  Should it not be equal to men as well, if you look upon a man to lust?

The great cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed because of the nature of men within those cities.  As Lot was preparing to leave the city he was visited by two angels.  The men of that city beat upon the door of Lots home asking him to send the men outside so they may “know” them.  If the men of that city had the chance they would have perverted angels of the lord with their acts.

I not intended this to be a bashing board for glbt community.  The intention is to illustrate the moral foundation that was established by God.

Now if you were to look at if from the point of “Nature”, it does not make sense either.  You end up with men marring men and women marring women with what end purpose in mind?  Sexual gratification?  Belonging?  It isn’t to create offspring.  Two men are not able to create offspring, nor are two women.  How do you further society or populate the earth if men marry men and women marry women?  You can not.  It is a recipe for disaster; it will destroy the nation, culture, and race of people that accept it.    As well this is contrary to Gods law as well; which states that men and women should multiply and replenish the earth.

How did we become America?  Better yet, how did any nation become what it is?  How did the world end up populated with 6 billion people?  It was not by men seeking the affections of men and women likewise.  If that were the case the population of the earth would have never reached this point.  Each of us alive today would have never had a chance to live or exist.

Naturally it is contrary to the laws of nature.  Therefore, it should not be seen as approved and acceptable by any law.

An example of being exposed to the Gay Agenda:

November 2, 2008

I was driving down the street one day in Ogden, Utah when I was passed by a big SUV that had writing all over the back of it.  It said: Lesbians Rule then had a big picture of a penis and ball sack drawn with a circle and slash though it and the word “bad” written next to it.  On the other side of the back of the car there was a flowery vagina drawn and the worlds “good” and “yum” written next to them.

How many heterosexual people go driving around with a picture of a man and woman “doing it” on the back of the car?  Or a picture of a penis (a + sign) and a picture of a vagina followed by and (a = sign) then some little kids?

Why don’t gay people just keep it to them selves?  We do I have to be exposed to their way of thinking?  Why do I have to see their obscenity as they are driving down the road?  If I did that to my car, I would probably be pulled over and cited for it.  Yet it is tolerable and acceptable for gay people to do it, it is an expression of who they are.  And that way everyone gets to be part of the obscenity.

I think it is wrong.

I have no problem with you being gay, God bless you for it.  But I do have rights, and with those rights, I choose to believe it is immoral and degrading to society.  I also believe I have a right to not have to be exposed to it.

h1

What could a 2nd Bill of Rights mean for you, me, and gays?

November 2, 2008

The issue of gay indoctrination makes me think about the NEW 2ND BILL OF RIGHTS that is going to be pushed through the house and senate if the Dems win all 3 houses.

Barack Obama said: The constitution tells you what the government can’t do to you, but it does not say what it has to do for you.  Will our 2nd Bill of Rights tell us that the Government must provide us a home?  That they must provide us with health care?  That they must provide us with “sex” education?

What is stopping the “government” from saying it has to provide you with sex education and that education has to be fair?  You know if the government does anything, it has to be across the board equal.   So, if you have to learn about boys and girls having sex and reproducing as God and nature intended, you would be required to learn the inverse about boys and girls having sex and God and nature had not intended.

It’s the same with science and how the earth and planets were created.  Except that it is no longer what God did, rather what someone conjured up as an idea of how it all happened.

Sex will be taught to our children in public schools (as early as kindergarten) so there will be tolerance and fairness.  Our kids will not be taught that there are natural laws that bind men to women and not men to men or women to women. In stead they will be taught to swing with ever way they feel or express an interest.  They will be no moral foundation, no religious foundation, just indiscriminate sex with whomever you please.  But wrap it up if you please.   (I thought I would throw in a rhyme)

This is the worst thing that could happen to us as a country or society.  We will see the disintegration of our society of such a thing happens.  There should be NO 2nd Bill of Rights, nor should the government and schools get into educating our children about gay lesbian, transgender or bisexual education, practices, any anything of the sort.

Do not take away the rights of the many in order to please a few.

Has Gay Advocacy gone too far? Where will it stop?

November 2, 2008

I read a story on  http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,445865,00.html Foxnews.com about a kindergarten class being required to sign “Gay Pledge Cards” in support of gay advocacy.  I was pleased the article stated that kindergarten students are likely not aware of what it means to be gay and that such items should be age appropriate.  I was also pleased that the administration was taking some sort of action, unlike the students who went on a field trip to the gay wedding ceremony.

I can understand the “gay” side of the issue.  They don’t want like kids calling each other “gay” or “queer” or anything of the sort because it hurts someone’s feelings.  Come on, they are kids.  At that age, they don’t even understand what they are saying.   Tell them it is a word they shouldn’t use, but don’t indoctrinate them into determining their sexuality at that age.  I would think anyone who is gay had thick enough skin to not worry about what a kindergartener calls them or someone else.

Now, should people call gay people names?  No, that isn’t right either.  Should it be tolerated, that depends on what degree of not tolerated you mean.  Punishable by death for calling someone  name?  No.  Incarcerated?  No.  Told that is something they shouldn’t do?  Yes.

But again, where do you draw the line between this is right and this is wrong?  Where do you draw the line between you have a right to be what you want to be and I have a right to learn about what I want to learn about?  Or think and say the things I want to think and say?  Where do you draw the line between what my rights are as a human being, my rights as an American, and my rights established by the Bill of Rights and constitution of the United States of America?

The major problem with gay advocacy is that it takes away the rights of others.  People should be sympathetic of all people and their rights to believe the way they do, but in the name of tolerance and fairness the rights of others are being trampled upon.  We the people are being forced to accept something many of us have no desire to accept.  We are being forced to hear and learn about something we have no desire to hear or learn about.  And where is the line going to be drawn?

Parents have the right to decide whether or not their child is exposed to anything related to being gay and even more so, have the right to control whether their children are indoctrinated by the gay agenda.

To some people being “gay” is fundamentally wrong.  It does not make sense in any way shape or form.   It is fundamentally contrary to the design and nature human beings.  This platform has a MAJOR moral contradiction to it.  Why should people who see and understand the moral and natural contradiction be forced to accept it.

With that said, a kindergartener is in no position to know or understand this issue.  At that age it should be determined by the parents what is appropriate to be taught and what is not… especially in issues that have the potential to be so fundamentally and morally wrong to people.

Vote NO to socialism… or anything like unto it.

October 29, 2008

I hope you don’t mind all of the emails I have sent over the last few weeks. But this is one of the most important that has been sent. Please consider it before casting your vote this year.

This is an email with an audio clip of Ezra Taft Benson.  It is very interesting given what hangs in the balance of this election.  The end of it talks about how we will be fed socialism until one day we wake up and find we all ready have communism.  We have been being fed socialism for some time.  We now have the chance to elect a president who will feed us a greater amount of socialism.  Will we wake up under his administration to find we have communism and wonder what we have done?

The fate of the nation hangs in a balance… what will we decide?

If you do not read the article consider these few excerpts taken from a talk by Ezra Taft Benson given at BYU in 1977: Located at: http://speeches.byu.edu/reader/reader.php?id=6162&x=55&y=6

“Why is socialism incompatible with man’s liberty? Socialism cannot work except through an all-powerful state. The state has to be supreme in everything. When individuals begin to exert their God-given rights, the state has to suppress that freedom. So belief in God must be suppressed, and with that gone freedom of conscience and religion must also go. Those are the first of our liberties mentioned in the Bill of Rights.”

“Many are now advocating that which has become a general practice since the early 1930s: a redistribution of wealth through the federal tax system. That, by definition, is socialism!”

“Americans have always been committed to taking care of the poor, aged, and unemployed. We have done this on the basis of Judaic-Christian beliefs and humanitarian principles. It has been fundamental to our way of life that charity must be voluntary if it is to be charity. Compulsory benevolence is not charity. Today’s socialists–who call themselves egalitarians–are using the federal government to redistribute wealth in our society, not as a matter of voluntary charity, but as a so-called matter of right. One HEW official said recently, “In this country, welfare is no longer charity, it is a right. More and more Americans feel that their government owes them something” (U.S. News and World Report, April 21, 1975, p. 49). President Grover Cleveland said–and we believe as a people–that though the people support the government the government should not support the people.”

“The chief weapon used by the federal government to achieve this “equality” [Barak Obama and Democrats today would call it fairness] is the system of transfer payments. This means that the federal governments collects from one income group and transfer payments to another by the tax system. These payments are made in the form of social security benefits, Medicare and Medicaid, and food stamps, to name a few. Today the cost of such programs has been going in the hole at the rate of 12 billion dollars a year; and, with increased benefits and greater numbers of recipients, even though the tax base has been increased we will have larger deficits in the future.”

Consider what hangs in the balance. Even our very RIGHTS and FREEDOMS hangs in the balance. Now is the time to stand and raise your voice. Don’t let the bias US Media be the only voice that is heard this election.

Stand and vote for freedom on Tuesday.  Encourage all you know to stand and vote for freedom.

Is is true or false? Is Palin really rogue?

October 27, 2008

Article on CNN
I have a hard time believing anything that CNN says. But one thing that I can tell you all for sure… If Palin is going off message she is saying the right things and I would rather elect her as president than McCain or Obama. She is the only one who is in the words of Obama “finally giving us a little straight talk”.

There is something funny about the way Obama said that. For some reason, it reminds me of something Edie Murphy would say or Chris Rock. Maybe we are electing Barack “the comedian” Obama… because his presidency is going to be ONE BIG JOKE!

God Bless America!

Obama Bans TV Station over Biden Questions

Angry over a hard-nosed interview during which Barbara West of Orlando’s WFTV peppered Sen. Joe Biden with the kind of probing questions the pro-Obama mainstream media refuses to ask, the Obama campaign has completely banned the television station from future access and interviews.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Biden was so disturbed by West’s searching questions that the Obama campaign canceled a WFTV interview with Jill Biden, the candidate’s wife.

“This cancellation is non-negotiable, and further opportunities for your station to interview with this campaign are unlikely, at best, for the duration of the remaining days until the election,” wrote Laura K. McGinnis, Central Florida communications director for the Obama campaign.

McGinnis said the Jill Biden cancellation was “a result of her husband’s experience yesterday during the satellite interview with Barbara West.”

During the interview, West asked Biden: “Aren’t you embarrassed by the blatant attempts to register phony voters by ACORN, an organization that Barack Obama has been tied to in the past?”

Biden appeared flustered by the question, but quickly gained his composure and denied that Obama had been close to ACORN.

Biden claimed that the campaign had not paid ACORN any money to register voters.

West did not challenge Obama on this point, though during the Democratic primary in Ohio, the Obama campaign had, in fact, paid more than $800,000 to an ACORN-backed group. West did note that Obama has worked with this group in the past. [See: Obama and ACORN: You Can Run But You Can't Hide].

West again stung Biden, asking him about Obama’s statement to Joe the plumber that he planned to “spread the wealth around.”

West queried: “A Gallup poll showed 84 percent of Americans prefer the government focus on improving economic conditions and creating more jobs in the U.S., as opposed to taking steps that distribute wealth. Isn’t Senator Obama’s comment a potentially crushing political blunder?”

Dodging the question, Biden attacked the Bush economic and tax policies and Sen. John McCain’s tax program.

West bored in, quoting Karl Marx’s “From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs,” and asked Biden, “How is Senator Obama not being a Marxist if he intends to spread the wealth around?”

Biden appeared stunned and asked, “Are you joking? Is this a joke?”

He then insisted that despite Obama’s declaration that he would spread the wealth around, Obama “is not spreading the wealth around.”

West then asked Biden about his now-famous statement that Obama would be tested and would not be able to stand up to the challenge without help.

“Are you forewarning Americans that nothing will be done and that America’s days as the world’s leading power are over?” West asked.

An obviously annoyed Biden responded by asking West who was writing her questions. West is a veteran TV news journalist who had worked as Peter Jennings’ producer at ABC News.

Biden responded that whoever is elected will be tested, and then attacked McCain’s record.

West returned to the “spreading the wealth” question, asking Biden what he’d “say to the people who are concerned that Barack Obama will want to turn America into a socialist country much like Sweden?”

Biden again ducked the question, saying only that he didn’t know anybody who thinks that, “except the far-right wing of the Republican Party.”

WFTV news director Bob Jordan told the Sentinel: “When you get a shot to ask these candidates, you want to make the most of it. They usually give you five minutes.”

He added that political campaigns in general pick and choose the stations they like. And stations often pose softball questions during the satellite interviews.

“Mr. Biden didn’t like the questions,” Jordan said. “We choose not to ask softball questions. ”
